Dr. Mu Salayta

The founder of Elwood Avenue Dental, Dr. Mu Salayta opened the clinic in 2019 and has been making smiles brighter ever since. Between his warm personality and positive energy, he puts patients at ease from the moment they walk in the door. The son of a dentist, he learned the impact of excellent oral hygiene while watching his dad care for his own patients.

Dr. Salayta earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas, and his master’s in biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University. He then earned his dental degree at the University of Southern California.

A regular student at Spear Education, Dr. Salayta has completed advanced studies in things like sedation and sleep dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and Invisalign. He is a proud, active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine just to name a few.

When not providing compassionate and gentle dental care to his patients, Dr. Salayta can be found with his wife Brigette and their daughter, Maya. He loves traveling to new places, and both playing and watching soccer!

Dr. Schuyler Pracht

Dr. Schuyler Pracht was raised with excellent oral health, thanks to her parents. However, although her dad is a dentist, and her mom a hygienist, it wasn’t until a dental mission trip where she got to assist her father that she knew she belonged in dentistry, too!

Dr. Pracht earned her bachelor's degree at Oklahoma State University, and her dental degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Following graduation, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency, focusing on topics like sinus lifts, gingival grafts, and dental implant surgery. She is also a proud provider of BOTOX and dermal fillers, and an active member of the American Dental Association and Oklahoma Dental Association.

When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Pracht and her husband (a fellow dentist) enjoy spending time with their daughter and their dogs. Whenever they can, the family of avid outdoor enthusiasts’ head out into nature to go backpacking, hiking, wakeboarding, and when the weather permits, skiing.

Dr. Demi Renfro

It’s safe to say that Dr. Demi Renfro had an excellent example of how to be a good dentist growing up. After all, her own mother was a dentist, and as a child she spent many days observing her mom with patients, seeing firsthand how excellent oral health can improve one’s quality of life.

Dr. Renfro earned her undergraduate degree at Texas Christian University and her dental doctorate at the University of Oklahoma. Following graduation, she has taken numerous continuing education courses at prestigious organizations including the Engle Institute, where she focused on single implant placement. She also maintains memberships in the American Dental Association and the Oklahoma Dental Association.

When not protecting her patients’ smiles, Dr. Renfro enjoys spending time with her husband, a radiology resident at OSU, and their family. She has also discovered a newer interest, landscaping her yard!
